23.internationale Bergbau & Montanhistorik Workshop

Zum zweiten Mal wird nun der Internationale Bergbau & Montanhistorik Workshop im historischen Siegerländer Revier zu Gast sein.
Nach 2013 in Müsen soll nun der Schwerpunkt im südlichen Revier liegen, vorgestellt wird aber die ganze 2500 Jahre alte Montan-region. Hierzu wird der Workshop auch Exkursionsziele in den Nachbarrevieren ansteuern. Die Grube Landeskrone als ältestes im Siegerland historisch belegtes Bergwerk, mit den neuesten Forschungsergebnissen und der untertägigen Dampf-maschinenhalle wird ein besonderer Schwerpunkt. 1852 ging hier die erste untertägige mit Dampfkraft betriebene Förderanlage im Königreich Preußen in Betrieb. Die untertägige Dampfmaschinenhalle ist ein Denkmal der Industrialisierung von überregionaler Bedeutung.

For the second time, the Internationale Bergbau & Montanhistorik Workshop (International Mining & Mining History Workshop) will be hosted in the historic Siegerland mining area.
After 2013 in Müsen, the focus will now be on the southern mining area, but the entire 2500-year-old mining region will be presented.
