How to label your EYCH2018 project

The European Year of Cultural Heritage label (comprising a logo, a slogan and a hashtag) is available for activities, events and projects taking place between 7 December 2017 (official launch of the year at the European Culture Forum in Milan) and 31 December 2018.

The label is reserved for projects which contribute to achieving one or more of the objectives of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage, as endorsed by the European Parliament and the Council of the EU in Article 2 of the legal decision calling for the year.

Does your project share the year’s vision? Apply for the label and leave your mark.

Who can grant the EYCH 2018 label?

  •     The National Coordinator in your country - for all projects at national, regional and local levels
  •     The European Commission - for all EU funded projects via the  application form of the EU Commission
  •     The members of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 Stakeholder Committee- for all cross-border projects implemented by the cultural heritage stakeholder organisations

> see also the EU Guidelines

EFAITH is stakeholder for the industrial and technical heritage and can thus grant the label and the logo to initiatives in these fields.

We can grant a label to

  • cross-border initiatives that include at least two (and by preference three) partners in at least two different countries - the EFAITH twinning campaign offers opportunities to find partners and to develop joint projects
  • each of the theme months is considered to be an umbrella cross-border project: partners joining the theme of one of these months and who do organise an initiative that fits into the theme of the month, can be granted the use of the logo of the theme month.
Any Industrial Heritage / Archaeology activity that is arranged during 2018 with content that aligns with the E-FAITH theme for the month in which it occurs, counts as a ‘transnational’ event, simply by dint of being part of the E-FAITH plan for the year.
Activities during the theme months can be conferences, workshops, guided visits, open doors, exhibitions, ... but also shows and performances that put a focus on and enhance the industrial heritage. It is left to your initiative and creativity, but don't hesitate to contact our secretariat if you have any question
